  Very disappointed from the moment I walked in. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the receptionist. She did not even look up and immediately asked for the $50 dollar co-pay. The wait was not long (only good part). The music playing at the nurses station was loud and the tv in the patient room was even louder. I had to mute it so I could here the nurse who first came in. The nurse should have muted it. Dr. Parkman came in after about 7 minutes and looked at my son's severe sore throat for less than a second. She asked maybe one or two questions and walked out. As she was walking out, I asked her what the situation is. She stopped at the door and said she would prescribe a "mouthwash that numbs the area". I said, "that's it?". She said yes and shut the door. I was very disappointed they did not even swab for strep. We then left and went to 3 separate pharmacies in Zachary who could not fill the prescription because they did not carry that "numbing mouthwash". I'll sum this up. The doctor didn't do her job which is seriously disturbing because after a second opinion, the condition turned out to be strep. Beware of this clinic. This poor treatment can become very serious to your health.
